As parents who chose home education for our children, across both mainstream and SEND pathways, we understand the rewards and challenges of learning beyond the traditional classroom. This experience inspired us to create a supportive, flexible space where every learner feels valued and confident to grow in their own way.
Before founding World of Education Ltd, we established Onyx Student Support Ltd, a company providing tailored educational and wellbeing services for young people, including SEND and mental health support. At Onyx, we focus on personalised learning plans, mental health support, study support, and holistic support that help learners overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

Our team brings together expertise in counselling, social work, mental health, neurodiversity, education, and leadership. Together with a network of skilled professionals, teachers, psychologists, counsellors, and social workers, we combine specialist training in areas such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, trauma-informed practice, Makaton, BSL, and assistive technology. Many hold Level 3+ qualifications in SEND and further training in mental health first aid, speech and language support, and inclusive teaching strategies.
